Many first-time authors believes that once their manuscript is finished, the difficult part have ended. They upload the file quickly because they are excited, however publishing platforms has technical requirements that can turn a simple process into several rejected files. The book may look correct in Word but appears differently after its converted. Page breaks moves, headings does not match, and the table of contents stop working. These problems does not mean the book is poor, but they can make readers question the authors attention to detail.

A memoir and personal growth manuscript had a strong first-person story and a clear reader framework. The editorial assessment identified repeated ideas and phrases that sometimes made the writing feel less conversational.

After the scope is approved, you receive an agreement and invoice. Projects below $500 begin with a 50% deposit. Projects of $500 or more begin with a 30% deposit and can be divided into defined milestones.

Do you work with first-time authors?
Yes. You do not need to understand every publishing term before getting in touch. Share where you are, and I will recommend the right next step.
Can you prepare both paperback and ebook editions?
Yes. Print and ebook editions require different production methods. Your files can be prepared for one or both formats as part of the same project.
Which publishing platforms do you support?
Support is available for Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Lulu, and other common publishing routes depending on the project.
How long will my project take?
The schedule depends on word count, manuscript condition, service scope, and the number of formats. Your timeline is confirmed before work begins.
Will I retain ownership of my book?
Yes. You retain ownership of your manuscript and finished book. Confidentiality and file handling can be documented in the project agreement.
How do you create a book trailer?
We start with your synopsis, cover, audience and preferred channels. The script and visual direction are agreed before production. Depending on the brief, I combine stock footage and AI-generated visuals with editing, music and on-screen text. Voice-over, captions and extra video formats can be included in your quote.
Can you work with an AI-assisted manuscript?
Yes, provided you have the rights to the material. AI-assisted drafts often need additional consistency, accuracy, voice, and structure checks, so a sample review may be required before quoting.
